For commuters on the way to work and back again we recommend a subscription for a regular fare monthly travel pass. For children between the ages of 6 and 14, school children and young people in training we recommend the subscription for a reduced fare monthly travel pass and for all those who travel after 9 a.m., the 9-o’clock monthly travel pass is just the thing.
An application for a reduced fare subscription for a monthly travel pass for people who are not yet of legal age must also be signed by a parent or guardian.
The reduced fare monthly travel pass is only valid in conjunction with a valid customer card and is non-transferable. Customer cards are available in all service centres of the network partners. Reduced fare travel passes are only valid for the person that they have been issued to and include a customer card that has been filled in with all the relevant personal information in an indelible ink and which also has a passport photo of the card owner affixed to it in such a way that it cannot be taken off the card, as well as a stamp. (see Tariff regulations 5.2 (2))
People 15 years or older require the confirmation of the school they are attending or of the operating company.
If the stamp is lost or stolen, the operating companies will, for a set fee, issue a replacement stamp which has to be picked up in the service centre, the offices of the operating company or the school (depending on the rules of the district in which it was issued).
