Bicycle library
Dresden has the only bicycle library in Germany. In addition to cycling maps and special literature on bicycles, the library also offers advice and presentations.
The bicycle library is located in the Bürgertreff (citizens meeting point) in Leubnitz-Neuostra, on Heydenreichweg 4. It is open every Tuesday from 7 pm until 9 pm or by appointment.
The bicycle library was founded in 1992 as a branch of the Friedens- und Ökobibliothek des Ökumenischen Informationszentrums. The library staff (who are all volunteers) are all passionate cyclists. That is why, in addition to lending out literature, they can also offer lots of advice when you are planning and preparing your next bicycle trip.
