Welcome aboard a fleet that is truly unique in this world. With nine historic paddle steamers that are between 80 and 130 years old, the Saxon Steam Shipping Line has the oldest and largest fleet of paddle steamers in the world.
Let yourself be carried away by the nostalgic charm of a paddle steamer, the quiet swoosh of the paddles and the huff and puff of the steam engines. On their journeys in the area between Seußlitz near Meißen and Děčín in Bohemia, this fleet, which is steeped in tradition, not only travels through one of the most beautiful river landscapes in Europe, but also through the Dresden Elbe valley, which was on the UNESCO World Heritage list from 2004–2009.
