Personal SMS profile
If you want to use travel information via SMS frequently, it is recommended to create a personal profile. You can store frequent queries, subscribe to the timetable change notification service or change your home zone in your profile. If you want to create or edit a personal profile, just follow these links:
Storing frequent queries
If you query certain connections frequently, you can store these queries in your profile under a short, descriptive name (e.g. “Air” for a connection from the main line railway station to the airport). In the future, you then just have to send an SMS with the message “Air”.
Subscribing to the timetable change notification service
It is possible to receive notifications of timetable changes automatically via SMS. You can specify in your profile for which routes or transport companies you want to get current information on to your cell phone. Information about roadwork and other construction work will be sent 24 hours before the work will start.
Changing the home zone
The home zone is set to Dresden by default. However, you can change it to your home town in your profile, so that you can take advantage of the short styles explained for Dresden above also for Hoyerswerda city transport, for example.
