Swimming
There are lots of possibilities to go swimming. In the summer, the big attractions are the open air pools, stone quarry lakes or the banks of the River Elbe. In the winter on the other hand, there are plenty of indoor pools that invite the swimmer in.

The open air pools are all well looked after and in good condition and generally include facilities that offer food and drinks. Many of them also offer services for the handicapped.
