Walking tours of the city
Not only tourists are spellbound by the fascinating stories told by experienced city guides. Even those who have lived here for years learn many intriguing facts and new things about their city. And when was the last time that you went and explored a city on foot?
Usually you have the choice between a commercial tour organiser or a public tour. Commercial guides usually require a booking and the tour is individualised to meet your needs. The public tours start regularly at a set time and at a set meeting point and anyone who is interested can take part.
In addition to the “normal” walking tours, you can also find tours organised around a specific theme or special offers for children, the disabled or foreign travel groups.
The urban sightseeing attractions of the Upper Elbe region not only include the big tourist magnets of Dresden and Meißen, but also less well known places such as a tour of the production facilities of the noodle factory in Riesa, the Canaletto market square in Pirna or the beer brewing city of Radeberg.
