Monthly travel passes
Travel almost every day by VVO bus and rail? Then the monthly pass is your perfect choice. For frequent travellers there is a wide range of monthly passes in five fare categories. You can also have monthly passes delivered conveniently to your home as a subscription.
Age classifications

Accompanied items, additional passengers
Holders of monthly passes can take one bicycle or dog with them free of charge.
On weekends or public holidays, holders of monthly passes are entitled to take with them 5 additional passengers, of whom one person may be above age 14, within the normal fare level, time period and area covered by the pass. This applies from 6 p.m. on the day before use to 6 a.m. the day after use (only until 4 a.m. if monthly pass is valid from 9 a.m. on).
Validity in special means of transportation
VVO monthly travel passes are, depending on the area and the time covered by the travel pass, also valid for the mountain trains in Dresden, the City-Bus in Meißen, the narrow-gauge railways, the Kirnitzschtalbahn and in the elevator in Bad Schandau.
1st class
An additional card may be purchased that enables the owner of a regular fare monthly travel pass to use the 1st class sections within the VVO area. These tickets are available either as a weekly or as a monthly ticket.

If you use a monthly travel pass, you have the possibility of using our subscription service. If you subscribe, the monthly travel pass will be sent directly to your home. In addition, there are numerous other benefits and special offers for subscribers.

Notes
Children under 6 years of age, groups of kindergarten children and people with severe disabilities according to SGB IX (German Code of Social Law, Book IX) travel free of charge. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 pay the reduced fare. (reduced-price travel passes only with VVO ID card)
