Projects & initiatives

VVO is involved in various national and international projects that follow a variety of aims. The following section gives you an overview of selected projects where VVO is actively involved in the realisation.

• Current projects

Here we show you some of the projects that have already been completed and still influence the structure of public transport in the Upper Elbe region today. This includes the “ALLFA-Projekt” and “intermobil region Dresden”.

• Finished projects

VVO engages actively with organisations in the transport studies and transport economics sector and with the major organisations of the traffic and transport industry. VVO is currently an active member of the Deutsche Verkehrswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft e.V. (DVWG, German Association of Transport Sciences), the Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen (VDV, Association of German Transport Companies) and the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).
