Travelling in the VVV

The Verkehrsverbund Vogtland (VVV) covers the entire Vogtland area.

When you travel out of the VVO (Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe) area, the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn (MRB) tariff and Deutsche Bahn offerings apply to the entire trip.

Guten-Tag ticket

This ticket is sold by the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn (MRB) and is the best option for day-trippers. Whether you are travelling alone or in a group, this ticket allows you to travel all day long in second-class on the RE 3, RB 30 and RB 45 routes.

The Doppel-Deal (double deal) is an option for commuters and frequent travellers on the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn (MRB) who are heading into or out of the VMS and the VVV. Buy your subscription pass or season ticket directly from the MRB and you will get one VMS and/or VVV tariff zone free of charge on top.

Saxony Ticket

The Saxony Ticket (state ticket) is offered by Deutsche Bahn. Up to five people can travel together all day long on this ticket and go all over Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.

Regio120 and Regio120plus tickets

The Regio120 ticket is offered by Deutsche Bahn. You can use the Regio120 ticket to travel for up to 120 kilometres for just 15 euros. For over 120 kilometres you can use the Regio120plus ticket, which costs just 20 euros.
